Rustic weddings are here to stay. And why not? They are beautiful and can be just as elegant as a classic or vintage style wedding.

Rustic weddings also mean you can have a little fun with your wedding cake.  Gone are the days when you need to rely on a naked cake or birch tree cake to give you the rustic look you desire (naked cakes tend to dry out quickly because they have little to no protective buttercream keeping the cake fresh).

Here is an ombre wedding cake created this past weekend with chocolate ganache. The cake is accented with bright, fall sugar flowers and leaves. Kristy LOVED her cake. I even got to snag a photo with her when we delivered the cake. Check it out!
